Thailand Science Festival launches 1001 Inventions

Had Yai, June 15 2018: Thailand’s National Science and Technology Fair is hosting “1001 Inventions: Inspirations from the Golden Ages for a Better Future” as an anchor exhibition. The inspirational award-winning exhibition is brought to South Thailand by the Ministry of Science and Technology as part of the Science and Technology Fair organised by National Science Museum.

The exhibition aims to create awareness amongst Thai youth about the rich legacy of creativity and innovation in Muslim civilization. It is a celebration of one thousand years from the 7th century onwards, when inspirational men and women, of different faiths and cultures, built upon knowledge of ancient civilisations, making fascinating advancements in science and technology that have had a huge and often underappreciated impact on our world and helped pave the way for the European Renaissance.
