Under the Patronage of the Governor of Riyadh, we’re back with a new breed of Science Festival! 3,000 square metres of engagement making science fun and accessible to all. Organised by the King Salman Science Oasis, Riyadh. Created and Produced by 1001 Inventions and producer Ahmed Salim.
This year we focused on making Chemistry Fun with Jabir Ibn Hayyan, 9th century pioneer known by many as the ‘father of chemistry’… from the golden age of science from Muslim Civilisation… We’re taking a journey for Chemistry from the Past, Present and Future.
“It was an immense honour to lead the creation and production of this year’s Riyadh Science Festival, known as ‘STEAM FESTIVAL’. The event successfully brought Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Maths to life at the renowned King Salman Science Oasis.”
“So why did we organise this event? Saudi Arabia needs a new generation of scientists to help realise the nation’s ambitious goals for sustainability.”
“Our event partners, Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, say there’s a shortage of more than 2 million jobs in industry. With STEAM FESTIVAL 2024 we focused on making Chemistry fun and delving into the multidisciplinary world of Petrochemicals… Past, Present and Future.”
“A heartfelt thank you to all the teams from 1001 Inventions, Webedia, King Salman Science Oasis, Ministry of Education, Saudi Arabia, Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and everyone else involved in welcoming over 42,000 attendees to the festival.”
