1001 Inventions presented an overview of its project at "The First Regional Conference on the Knowledge Economy" in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from January 12-13, 2008.

Professor Salim Al-Hassani delivered a key note speech on behalf of 1001 Inventions and the Foundation for Science Technology and Civilisation (FSTC).

Over 300 experts and professionals as well as several VIPs attended the conference.

1001 Inventions Exhibition launches in Glasgow, Scotland
24th October, 2007 till 8th January, 2008

1001 Inventions Exhibition launches at Glasgow Science Centre, Scotland and is now open to the public till Tuesday 8th January, 2008. 

The exhibition was formally opened by Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon accompanied by an array of dignitaries.

1001 Inventions also includes a touring exhibition which has seen 180,000 visitors since its launch.
