1001 Inventions presented an overview of its project at "The First Regional Conference on the Knowledge Economy" in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from January 12-13, 2008. Professor Salim Al-Hassani delivered a key note speech on behalf of 1001 Inventions and the Foundation for Science Technology and Civilisation (FSTC).
Over 300 experts and professionals as well as several VIPs attended the conference.

1001 Inventions today marked its first anniversary by announcing ambitious global expansion plans including the publication of the second edition of its internationally acclaimed book.
1001 Inventions also includes a touring exhibition which has seen 180,000 visitors since its launch.
