Science Museum Lates

27th January 2010, 18:45 - 21:45

Dana decamps to the Science Museum as it opens its doors for an adults-only late-night extravaganza. Come and play in our newest galleries, and have a drink with friends.

Taking inspiration from our new exhibition 1001 Inventions, Lates this month explores the science and culture of Muslim civilisation. Join us as we marvel at early martial arts, bang out some beats on Sufi frame-drums and become all starry-eyed in our giant star dome.

Plus all your favourites are back to welcome in 2010. Kick start your New Year's resolutions by dancing off the calories at London's premier silent disco in our Exploring Space gallery and exercise your mental muscle at the legendary Pub Quiz.

1001 Inventions is hosted by the Science Museum and runs from 21st January - 30th June 2010. The exhibition traces the forgotten story of a thousand years of science from the Muslim world, from the 7th century onwards.
